Built by Pininfarina, the Wankel Vette trumped the 2-Rotor with more than double the power in a low-drag (0.325
Cd) body riding on the XP-882 chassis. Its windshield was creased by hanging it from a superheated wire. Built in-house within
three months of its show debut, this "Paris Corvette" remains a favorite of GM's current design staff.
